Understanding Who You AreA guided, strengths-based exploration of identity — grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. About this workbook
Why understanding yourself mattersThis workbook is designed to help you build a clear, honest, and strengths-based understanding of who you are. By reflecting on the things that have shaped you — your influences, the moments that energise you, your strengths, your relationships, and your core values — you'll begin to see the patterns that reveal your identity at a deeper level. Often we move through life without pausing to connect these pieces together. This is your space to step back and recognise what has shaped you, what drives you, how you naturally show up in the world, and what truly matters to you. This is not about judging yourself or focusing on what you lack. It is about recognising your experiences, strengths, and resilience — and using them to define a version of yourself that feels authentic and empowering. What you'll gain

— Where you come from and what has shaped your perspective — The people who inspired you and the qualities you admired in them — The challenges you have faced and how you responded or grew through them — The moments where you felt most alive, engaged, or truly yourself — The strengths and abilities you have developed along the way — The role you tend to play in relationships and the impact you have on others — The values that guide your choices — and what you are passionate about, and why it matters
Aim to answer one question: Who am I, based on how I have lived, what I value, and how I show up in the world? Write it so that someone could understand not just what has happened in your life, but who you have become because of it.
You are not defined by where you have been, but by what you choose next. Return to this workbook as often as you like. The person you are becoming is always in progress.
